Introduction to course
All students follow the National Curriculum in PSHCEE. This subject is taught in tutor groups and material is delivered in drop down days once a term. The nature and content of the course are determined by the compulsory requirements of the National Curriculum, though all teachers seek to be creative and flexible.
Syllabus content
Students will study appropriate aspects of a healthy lifestyle, including personal safety. Students work towards understanding effective and satisfying relationships and developing independence and responsibility. Lessons concerning personal skills and their value in the work place are studied in the career lessons. Preparation for work includes interview practice and the completion of application forms.

All students continue to study this subject through their time at RGS,  to help them to develop the skills and strategies that are necessary to become responsible, active and healthy citizens in their future lives. Delivered through the tutor programme development days.
