The House system has been introduced to RGS as part of the Personal Development Programme with the aim to increase enrichment opportunities for our students and to create another family within the school for them to belong to. Each form across, the five-year groups, are associated with a House and the competition between students and staff is fierce. Each House is led by a staff House Champion who are supported by students SSLT team and individual form reps. The House year runs from April to April, to allow for the Year 11s to enjoy the House party for the winning house, and includes a range of competitions which run as part of lesson time, during break and lunch and drop-down events.
