Tae Kwon Do taster session

Rob Morgan, from Reading Tae Kwon Do club assisted by Sally Kordzinski ran a taster session for the sport at Reading Girls' School on Thursday 27 September 2012

Tae Kwon Do has soared in popularity since Jade Jones won a gold medal at the London Olympics. Miss Conway, always keen to capitalise on the girls sporting interests arranged for Rob Morgan-Warren, Chief Instructor at Reading Taekwondo Club and his associate Sally Kordzinski to give our girls a free taster session.

It was a fast paced session, which left the girls hearts racing! Tae Kwon Do offers an extremely varied programme with Fitness Classes and Self Defence Classes to suit all ages, who knows, maybe the session will inspire one of our students, who may then end up on the Tae Kwon Do squad at the Rio Olympics in 2016!

The popular session was visited by Chris Forsey from the Chronicle, who ran an article about the event in The Midweek on Wednesday 3 October. His photos are available to view on In-house photos are available in: Parents; School Gallery; Tae Kwon Do 2012.
