The GCSE Leisure and Tourism students went to Windsor to help prepare for their exam.
The sun was shining on a brisk winters day on the 28th January when 14 Y11 Leisure and Tourism pupils visited Windsor Castle and Windsor Town. We visited Windsor Castle and WIndsor Town itself as a major international tourist destination and tourist attraction to help pupils prepare for their exam in May. All pupils and staff were impressed with the size and grandeur of WIndsor Castle, the state rooms were particularly impressive. Windsor town provided a fantastic destination, pupils enjoyed exploring the town. Eton College was a particular highlight, which was even more impressive when the pupils learnt that this is where the prime minister and many members of the royal family go to school.
A great day was had by all and we are excited to start incorporating are new experiences and new learning into our work as soon as possible.
