Y11 citizenship students raised money for the Human Appeal on the final day of term 3.
On the Friday before half term, the Y11 citizenship girls raised £500 with a non-uniform day, and over £150 from their international food sales, and Henna. They also had a permit for street collections, and other fundraising was done outside school which netted another £600! The total to be sent to the charity is in excess of £1200. The girls chose this charity to support Syrian children who have been affected by recent upheavals in their country. They are hoping that a member of the charity will be able to come in to school to pick up the donation.
