Reading Challenge

Mrs Bilbe runs a Reading Challenge in the Library with prizes awarded each term. Do encourage your daughter to participate!

To encourage students to read more and think about the books they are reading the library is running a Reading Challenge throughout the school year. There is one Challenge per term with house points and a lucky dip as rewards. At the end of the year all participating students will be entered into a prize draw for some bigger prizes, including a CD player.

Three students took part in the Autumn Reading Challenge, earning 2 house points for every book they read. Between them they read 15 books and wrote a brief review of each.

The Spring Challenge starts in January and hopefully more students will get involved. It is really easy to take part, you can read any book you want and you only need to read 1 book a month to qualify so why not give it a go. Look for the yellow "Spring Reading Challenge" forms, in the library, or download it below.
