Reading Girls’ School is a dynamic and welcoming community, serving the educational needs of girls from the ages of 11 to 16 from a diverse local community.
We are seeking to appoint a full time Head of English who can demonstrate commitment to their professional development, innovation in relation to their subject specialism as well as the ability to challenge students of different abilities to include the most able. You will be an outstanding classroom teacher in your career to date with evidence of successful teaching and a commitment to the wider life of a school. You will be able to demonstrate leadership of a department or wanting to pursue the step to leadership.
