Reading Girls’ School is a partially selective secondary girls school, currently for students between 11-16 year olds, however, we have plans to extend into a Sixth Form. We specialise in STEM and our vision is to help create well-rounded young people who are able to take their place in the local, national and international community.

The school is the top performing non selective school in Reading, with a Progress 8 score of 0.61 in 2023. It continues to grow from strength to strength and the school’s success is validated in the Ofsted Report (November 2021) which noted that RGS is a Good School, with Outstanding features. We are able to offer extensive support in career development and progress.
