Reading Girl’s School is a dynamic and welcoming community, serving the educational needs of girls from the ages of 11 to 16 from a diverse local community.

We seek to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and influential Higher Level Teaching Assistant, who will inspire and provide excellent support to students.  

The successful candidate will work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils. Giving support to pupils individually or in groups in order them to access the curriculum, take part in learning with experience of a sense of achievement.  Experience in leading literacy would be advantageous.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities. You will be able to work well as part of a team, but also demonstrate initiative and the ability to work alone.
