Reading Girls' School

Y11 Leavers Assembly

On Friday 25 May 2012, Years 7-10 left school ot 1.20pm, to enable the staff and the Year 11 students to celebrate the end of their formal education at Reading Girls' School.

Staff dressed the hall for the event, each tutor group had prepared a presentation about life at RGS. There were certificates handed out. Mrs Hargrave had decorated an enormous amount of cup cakes specially for the occasion, and there were sweets and soft drinks on hand. The girls had a few special presentations to make to Mrs Hargrave and to the staff who worked so hard in the bush tucker trial event. It was a very joyous occasion, funny and emotional, lots of smiles and a few tears. The girls were then sent on study leave and will be back in school for exams, results, and Prizegiving in due course. More pictures are aailable in: Parents; School Gallery; Leavers Assembly 2012.
