Black History Celebration

Year 11 ran some fundraising activities to help towards the cost of their Prom next Summer. The biggest event so far was this celebration of Black History.

During the day, students and staff were invited to wear the colours of their national flags, or some kind of National costume, and donate £1. Then came the concert, which had a variety of entertainment. Food sales were held during the event, and in total Y11 have raised over £1200 to help pay for the prom. One of the elements of the day was to design a T-shirt, the winning design would then be printed, you can see the stunning design chosen below, modelled by it's creator. You can see more photos here
